#** Didn't see this comment until now, but I think if the image button idea won't work or for whatever reason isn't followed up on, I definitely think this is the right way to go about changing the menus. To Do
- Add 4 radio buttons at the top top switch between possible menus.
- Currently, the switch only allows for 2 options (hence why 2 separate pages that switch individually are currently shown. Modify the switch (or use an updated {{srctabs}}) to allow for 4 options.
- Add links/bottom text from current Main page
- Evaluate whether we have the right links down bottom
- Add towns w/ icons off to the right.
- This will be done with an image map to prevent the need to code a table. 15:11, 25 January 2024 (UTC)
- Interesting, I haven't heard of an image map before :)! What does the image map give us that a table wouldn't? The ability to arrange the towns in something other than a strict grid? In my mind, I was envisioning having the towns in a single vertical column to the right of the main page to save on horizontal space. --Legate (talk) 15:49, 25 January 2024 (UTC)
- Image maps allow the linking of pages to certain clickable areas in an image; for example, a table can be prerendered at a specific size and certain areas of it can be clickable, which will then link to certain pages. It just eliminates the need to code a whole table and just have it as an image that can easily be positioned anywhere on the page but with clickable areas. 16:39, 25 January 2024 (UTC)

Thoughts
- Maybe move the button column a little further to the right? Center it in the negative space in that page of the background? --Legate (talk) 14:34, 25 January 2024 (UTC)
- I looked at the in-game menu and the buttons are very slightly shifted to the right. I temporarily included it on your main page for reference. Feel free to delete/comment it out.
- Maybe consider switching the magic arrow animation to a magic arrow spell scroll? May be more recognizable? --Legate (talk) 14:34, 25 January 2024 (UTC)
- For the Campaign menu, the button pics are cool, but a little off-putting as they are never seen in game (except Frederick). Maybe instead use an upscaled version of the normal expansion icons? --Legate (talk) 14:34, 25 January 2024 (UTC)
Design Decisions
- Incorporate Csaros' images to go with the links? Would this make this screen too busy? Should we just leave the text? --Legate (talk) 14:34, 25 January 2024 (UTC)
- ANSWER: No. I don't think there should be any more images or links on the main page since it is visual clutter and I don't think anyone is going to want to directly navigate to anything important that isn't already in the menus I have outlined. 15:11, 25 January 2024 (UTC)
- Good point. I agree. --Legate (talk) 15:49, 25 January 2024 (UTC)
- Update switch to use ima's new option in the top right corner of the wiki.
- ANSWER: Not used for this page. This will not be useful for this page at all since there will be 4 menu screens that need their own separate buttons (switches) to change the menu that will be shown, and I think it is best to have them all shown like in my proof of concept so users are able to freely switch between them with little confusion. 15:11, 25 January 2024 (UTC)
