Building the Captain's Quarters increases gnolls' growth by 6 per week.

Their defense is higher than most level 1 units. Gnolls and Gnoll Marauders are more than decent fighter in the early stages of the game, being able to easily clear wandering monsters with little help. However, they should also be used in such a way to not take too much damage, since their numbers can drop very fast if they're continuously attacked. Even if it's stated in the game manual that they're armed with morning stars, they are in fact armed with flails. This is probably because the developers forgot to correct their description when launching the game. |
