Will-o-the-Wisp
The Banshee was a cancelled creature planned for Restoration of Erathia. It resembles a flying skull with horns surrounded by a green aura. It received a 3D model render and was implemented into the game at one point, and was shown in a prerelease screenshot, but was removed before release. In the prerelease screenshot, it was depicted alongside Fortress units, suggesting it may have been associated with that town; if it were, it would seemingly have been replaced by either the Serpent Fly or Gorgon, as all the other Fortress units appear alongside it.
Banshees have appeared in other Might and Magic games, but not with this design.
