Still need to clean up the [[Special:WantedPages|wanted pages]] list. [[File:Hero Stormblessed small.gif|→ima|link=user:imahero]] 11:07, 27 May 2021 (UTC)
There was a very good reason for the strong community backlash to [[Forge]]. I propose a moratorium on adding references to [[Forge]] in regular pages and a cleanup of those references that currently exist. If you wish to add such content please add them to the [[Forge]] page directly or add them as new pages to their respective category: [[:Category:Cut Content]] or [[:Category:Forge]]. :easy. '414 left' turned into '412 left' in a single fix. --[[User:GroundhogYear|GroundhogYear]] ([[User talk:GroundhogYear|talk]]) 16:01, 27 May 2021 (UTC)
::161-411 will be finished when I finish my RE project. [[File:Hero Stormblessed small.gif|→ima|link=user:imahero]] 16:06, 27 May 2021 (UTC)

Maybe I should stop being lazy and just fix things myself instead of making comments in the talk pages. [[File:Hero Stormblessed small.gif|→ima|link=user:imahero]] 18:38, 16 May 2021 (UTC)
:dont give up. are we lazynet or what?
:look at me - i uploaded this guy [[:File:Phoenix (HD mod) (adventure map).gif]] more than a year ago, but still have the strength not to add it to the creature page! --[[User:GroundhogYear|GroundhogYear]] ([[User talk:GroundhogYear|talk]]) 18:47, 16 May 2021 (UTC)

Now, if you're thinking I'm an actual jerk, I'm simply defending a public wiki and it's neutral pov, as all "official" wikis should be. You, however, are defending the extension of your personal view on matters regarding the subjects presented in the wiki, which is not acceptable in such a place.--[[User:FirePaladin2|FirePaladin2]] ([[User talk:FirePaladin2|talk]]) 01:45, 8 May 2021 (UTC)

:I applaud your gallant defense of a few references to content that was cut due to community backlash. Can we move on now? [[File:Hero Solmyr small.gif|→ima|link=user:imahero]] 01:55, 8 May 2021 (UTC)

::You're simply running away due to lack of proper non-biased standing, you know this. Cut or not cut, that is irrelevant here. It's ''information'' which has solid reasons to be there after all (you didn't bring solid counter-arguments as to why not). And yet again, you're imposing this attitude of you controlling this whole wiki in whatever ways you wish. Yes, I would indeed like to ''temporarily'' halt this debate (for more reasons, including the fact that you're discomforted by using a neutral pov as much as possible). As for the community backlash, you're again saying it like it decides everything once and for all and erases any hints and canon presence of sci-fi in HoMM3 (I mean, you did "hide" non-Forge content that is confirmed by developers and/or present in the universe where H3 takes part too); aka as if it's the one which decides what is going on "behind the curtains". Like this, people can just decide anything is not part of a game or franchise because they don't like it (insert the part about the community backlash not being that significant and being taken into consideration by 3DO because they were literally older EA and in dire need of more cash; yes, the founder of EA founded 3DO as well, and he wasn't that much better).--[[User:FirePaladin2|FirePaladin2]] ([[User talk:FirePaladin2|talk]]) 02:03, 8 May 2021 (UTC)

I cleaned up the code for my [[:Template:Scenario|scenario]]/[[:Template:Scenario hota|HotA]] templates. Now you can actually use [[Special:WantedFiles]] without a bunch of map images hiding everything. [[user:imahero|→ima]] 23:30, 25 April 2021 (UTC)

why are there no articles about random map templates? is it some policy or just nobody got around to writing them? i would imagine an article containing an image of the template layout would be helpful, along with some information about strategy and tips related to that template specifically. --[[User:Foerno|Foerno]] ([[User talk:Foerno|talk]]) 19:07, 20 November 2018 (CET)

: We already have: [[Random Map]] and [[Template Editor]]{{-}}{{withhota}} (which removes the need to know much about the file itself), but it would probably be nice to also have a: <nowiki>[[Random Map Template]]</nowiki> which describes the file. Feel free to add it. I would also be fine if you wanted to add the individual templates, e.g. Jebus Cross.  ―[[user:imahero|imahero]] 23:19, 20 November 2018 (CET)

there is a problem with [[Ruins]], a new HotA object. it's a creature bank which contains 5 different creatures. existing creature banks only have up to 4 different creatures. turns out the [[Template:Creature_bank_row]] does not work for more more than 4 creatures and the result is that the fifth creature is pushed to the column "content". this makes it impossible to add a creature bank template to this page. i believe this is a limitation of [[Template:Table row]] which only allows 9 elements inside a row. i also believe this limitation is inherited from the [[Template:Table]]. can anyone more experiences with these templates look at this? --[[User:Foerno|Foerno]] ([[User talk:Foerno|talk]]) 03:07, 26 July 2018 (CEST)

== Keen on developing an iPhone App for TheLazy wiki, does any REST API exist? ==
Hey all! I LOVE this Wiki and I’ve been using it A LOT the past years. Apart from being a HoMM3 major geek who have been playing the game since its release I’m also a programmer and I’ve started coding the game from scratch in the programming language Swift, I’ve not come that far but made some progress: you can find it on github repo named “Makt” under username “Sajjon” (I was not allowed to post a link)
Anyway, since I use this amazing wiki so much, I would love to be able to use it as a native iOS/macOS app! Open source of course… but doing so would require that TheLazy wiki exposes its content through an API, most preferably a REST API. Does such an API exist?
Thanks for the best wiki ever!
Kindly
Alexander Cyon
