In [[Target]], Ufretin tried, but failed, with [[Ethric]] and [[Jeddite]] to retrieve the [[Armor of the Damned]] and [[Cloak of the Undead King]] from [[Sandro]]. He later fought alongside [[Tarnum]] in the events of [[Clash of the Dragons]] and against him in [[The Sword of Frost]]. Captured by [[Tarnum]] and believing him a traitor, it took a full explanation and Tarnum killing/resurrecting himself to get Ufretin to trust him again. When Tarnum released him, he revealed the location of the [[Sword of Frost]]. After trying and failing to convince [[Gelu]] to stop looking for the sword, he steals the key to the city of [[Volee]] (where the Sword of Frost is kept) and gives it to Tarnum, begging him to stop Gelu.
