In one of the {{ab}} teasers, the goblins were shown having bows in their hands. The reason for that is because the teaser animations were already done and were supposed to show a [[Forge]] goblin instead, which used pistols. However, due to fan backlash, they had to change the [[Forge]] creatures into "regular" creatures, and so the teaser became somewhat off-topic with ranged [[Goblins]], a [[Minotaur]] and an Ogre guarding the Varn Vault where the [[Armageddon's Blade]] was kept.

Goblins and Hobgoblins are level 1 creatures of Stronghold town. They are recruited from Goblin Barracks.

Building the Mess Hall increases Goblin and Hobgoblin growth by 8 per week.

Heroes with a specialty

Gretchin Gretchin the Barbarian has goblins as a specialty, which increases the attack and defense skills of any goblins or hobgoblins for each level attained after 1st level and gives them a speed bonus of 1.

In one of the Armageddon's Blade teasers, the goblins were shown having bows in their hands. The reason for that is because the teaser animations were already done and were supposed to show a Forge goblin instead, which used pistols. However, due to fan backlash, they had to change the Forge creatures into "regular" creatures, and so the teaser became somewhat off-topic with ranged Goblins, a Minotaur and an Ogre guarding the Varn Vault where the Armageddon's Blade was kept.
