Bertram mentions that he is on this council in Deus Ex Machina, but it seems unclear as to whether this council is part of Burton or the Merchant Guild of Alvar. In his intro story, Bertram uses "we" to refer to himself and the guild, which makes me believe that this council is for the guild. --Legate (talk) 13:37, 6 August 2025 (UTC)
- Yeah, it's part of the Merchant Guild. This is actually a reference to board of directors, the wordplay being especially obvious in the original Russian version. However, the Captain-Director Council is a HotA invention, not mentioned in MM8. Though it doesn't contradict the MM8 lore, of course. --XEL (talk) 01:10, 7 August 2025 (UTC)
