This map is really nice - it is well balanced, large enough for players not to fight too much and provides an alternative condition that isn't particularly easy (Lots of Phoenixes). I advise the player to quickly clear his starting area and move through the portal to the second area with a second town. You are guaranteed to find a relic there, and if you're lucky it will be something useful for your strategy. The middle part of the map can be accessed already from these second areas - and once you're there, it is only a matter of a few turns before you find the Phoenix and kill it.

Prepare well for the fight with the Phoenix - losing it will not only weaken your power, it will also make it easier to kill it for your enemies.
