However, it should be noted that they die very easily when attacked, and each ranged attack a turn caused by the Grand Elves uses up two shots, not one.
 
The AI really likes to target the Elves. When conquering a city sometimes it's advisable to leave the Elves behind to avoid losses to the towers.
