Naga Bank is an adventure map location, and commonly known as one of the creature banks. It is guarded by 10–30 nagas. The more guards there are, the better the reward. The treasure contains 4000–12000 G and 8–24 S. If you are using the Heroes 3 HD mod, it provides gem instead of s.

You have found a Naga Bank. Do you wish to attack the guards?
* * *
You have found what once was a Naga Bank, but it has been deserted for some time.

Naga Bank is an adventure map location commonly known as a creature bank.

The guards are divided into five stacks (red hexes). There is a 50% chance of getting an upgraded stack in the lower left corner (C hex). All the guard stacks of the same speed attack in alphabetic order of these hexes. The hero's troops are located in blue hexes 1-7 (a tail hex for two-hexed creatures) according to stack positioning in the army slots 1-7. If the hero has less than 7 stacks, e.g. 3, they will be placed in hexes 1-3 no matter how they were placed in the army slots.

Though war machines are not present on the battlefield, they still provide their passive bonuses (i.e. the infinite shots effect from Ammo Cart and the First Aid/First Aid Tent health boost Horn of the Abyss Shadow of Death).

Slain enemies do not respawn (should the hero retreat or be defeated). The damaged stack's losses will not be redistributed among the others. If a stack was destroyed, it changes the guards disposition. Its place on the battlefield will be taken by the next one in the attacking order. (E.g.: If A stack was destroyed, B stack takes its place, C stack takes the freshly vacated place of B and so on).

Horn of the Abyss In Horn of the Abyss, the object's level can be preset by a map-maker and the upgraded stack option may be toggled on or off.

Heroes 3 HD[edit | hide | hide all]

The Heroes 3 HD mod changes the Naga Bank reward from Sulfur sulfur to Gem gems to make the resource match the one needed by the Tower. This behavior can be toggled off by unchecking the HD+ checkbox.

Guards preview[edit | hide]

The table shows how to pre-check the guard strength of an object without attacking it.
Guarding stacks accentuated with bold font should be considered in the first place.
Stacks insignificant for a preview are omitted.
The overall amount of creatures can be checked in the status bar (above the resource line at the bottom of the screen) by hovering over an object already visited (not attacked) by a hero.
