Looking for opinions here. Should we include both profiles on the main page or split them into separate pages? --Legate (talk) 17:23, 14 May 2024 (UTC)

  • For Minor heroes we have been putting multiple profiles on a single page.
  • For the main versions of heroes, we have been making separate pages for the minor versions of those heroes (e.g. Yog, Gem, Vidomina, Drakon)
    • These heroes have notable differences in many different aspects and some only feature in specific campaigns, which could make it confusing and cluttered to put them on the same pages as each other. I can agree to move Frederick and Dargem's Hall of Illusions appearances to new pages if you think that's a good idea, since I can equally see the arguments for and against having them on the same/separate pages. On one hand, they're identical to their original appearances in all but their starting stats/skills/creatures, but on the other, we have bootleg Drakon who is a weird portrait switch and nothing more on a separate page never mind, he also has a lot of other custom stuff, so perhaps this argument is invalid haha. I'm fine with either option! → Phasma 18:33, 14 May 2024 (UTC)
    • For these, we didn't even make a separate profile, just referenced the pic: Christian, Alkin, Sandro
      • Maybe these are exact copies of the primary hero, just with a different picture? --Legate (talk) 17:24, 14 May 2024 (UTC)
        • This is the case for these heroes; they are ONLY a portrait swap and they are campaign-exclusive so duplicating everything else seems a bit pointless. → Phasma 18:33, 14 May 2024 (UTC)
          • I thought about having a way to get the Hero template optionally cut everything after the biography (e.g. some sort of nostats= parameter), as it would be useful to show such duplicates in a more consistent way; however the template is rather complex enough as it is... --Turnam (talk) 19:00, 14 May 2024 (UTC)
