Wyverns and Wyvern Monarchs are level 6 creatures of Fortress town. They are recruited from the Wyvern Nest.

In addition to recruiting Wyverns from Wyvern Nests, they can be received as a reward from Dragon Fly Hives.

They are considered to be the worst level 6 unit, together with the manticores and scorpicores, bearing under-average health. However, the Wyvern Monarchs can be used to poison enemy stacks, lowering their max health by 10% for three turns.

Heroes with a specialty

• Broghild the Beastmaster has wyverns as a specialty, which increases the attack and defense skills of any wyverns or wyvern monarchs for each level attained after 6th level and gives them a speed bonus of 1.
