A Familiar Familiar who joined TarnumTarnum Tarnum's army and became a Barbarian after being ostracized by the Kreegans of the Fiery Moon. Has the rare talent of being able to smell gold.

Story[edit | hide | hide all]

Skizzik was a water-bearer at the prison on the Fiery Moon where Vorr kept the Ancestors. He left the door open briefly - not long enough for the Ancestors to escape, but long enough for them to get a message to Tarnum to save the World Tree. Enraged by this oversight, the Kreegans tried to kill Skizzik, but he fled the Fiery Moon via the Sparkling Bridge. When found by Tarnum's army, he was missing one of his ears and both wings in addition to having a broken arm. Although Tarnum allowed Skizzik to join the Barbarian army, Grumba was suspicious and suspected him of being a spy.

After a few wrong turns, Skizzik successfully guided Tarnum's forces back to the Sparkling Bridge and then on to the Fiery Moon. During this time, Skizzik developed a sense of loyalty to Tarnum for saving and protecting him and eventually returned the favor by saving Tarnum from a pack of Air Elementals. After that, Skizzik considered himself to be a Barbarian and began training with an axe.

Skizzik, who must be used to the hot furnace temperatures of the Inferno town, shivers all the time these days. I've tried to get him to dress warmly, but he insists on wearing only a wool loincloth and a helmet adorned with ridiculously large ram's horns. The Familiar thinks he's a Barbarian now, and even carries around a small hatchet - in his hands, it's a battle axe.

When Vorr ambushed Tarnum's forces, many were killed and Skizzik was presumed dead. A few weeks later, he turned back up at the head of a small force of troops and started bossing everyone around as if he were Tarnum's second-in-command. As no one challenged his position, he stayed this way for the rest of the campaign.
