Goblins and hobgoblins are level 1 creatures of stronghold town. They are recruited from goblin barracks. While goblins and hobgoblins are slightly below average among the basic foot soldier units, they are quite numerous and have reasonable speed when upgraded.
Gretchin the Barbarian specializes in Goblins and Hobgoblins, giving them +1 speed and a bonus to attack and defense for each level gained.
