Don't worry too much about making mistakes. All changes are recorded and easily reverted.

Spam/Trash/Garbage/Delete

Make these things into redirects to provide a sort of pseudo deletion. Redirects are less visible in places than pages. For instance Special:AllPages has the ability to hide redirects.
In addition to turning these into redirects they can also be moved to i.e. [[Delete/dht3hwh9]] for even better pseudo deletion.

• Template:Spam / Category:Spam = #REDIRECT [[Spam]]
• Template:Trash / Category:Trash = #REDIRECT [[Trash]]
• Template:Garbage / Category:Garbage = #REDIRECT [[Garbage]]
• Template:Delete / Category:Delete = #REDIRECT [[Delete]]
