Manual description

Four heroes must discover the truth behind some recent occurrences. They soon learn the wizard's apprentice, Sandro, was really a necromancer with plans for world domination. Uncovering Sandro's true ambitions, the heroes must join forces to stop him, but they must first find the pieces of the Angelic Alliance in order to face the powerful necromancer in his lair.

Backstory

Four heroes must uncover the plot brewing on the AvLee-Deyjan border and the Erathian-Deyjan border. From there they must find the Angelic Alliance, invade Deyja and stop Sandro, the powerful lich who plans to conquer the world.

Gem and Gelu must find the Sandals of the Saint, Helm of Heavenly Enlightenment and the Necklace of Celestial Bliss to win the scenario. Crag Hack and Yog must find the Sword of Judgment, Armor of Wonder, and Lions Shield of Courage to win the scenario. However, if either hero is defeated in combat, the scenario is lost. They are limited to level 37 but will carry their experience, skills and spells on to their next scenario.

Defeat all of the Necromancers in the area and create the Angelic Alliance to win the scenario. However, if Gem, Gelu, Crag Hack or Yog are defeated in combat, the scenario is lost. The four heroes are limited to level 40 but will carry their experience, skills and spells on to the next scenario.
Fall of Sandro			10 3000 2	Allies: Enemies:				∞	(none)
Defeat Sandro and all his minions to win the campaign. However, if any of your four heroes are defeated in combat or you fail to defeat Sandro's forces in four months, the scenario is lost.

Important information

• Although previous Shadow of Death campaign descriptions state that Crag Hack, Gelu, Gem, and Yog advance to the next campaign (i.e. Unholy Alliance) with their primary skills, secondary skills and spells, it is not true. Heroes appear on level 25 in their first scenarios, but with no magic (Gem with one spell), and, what is even more important, with random set of eight secondary skills on Expert level (i.e. they cannot get any more secondary skills).
• If you play a scenario where Gem doesn't appear at start, don't hire her in a Tavern, otherwise you won't get Gem in a further scenario, unless you get rid of her by firing or deliberately losing a battle which won't make you lose the game as another hero should be invincible.
• When you play for Sandro against your former heroes (Crag Hack, Gelu, Gem, Yog), they all appear with skills they obtained when you had played for them.
• After you have played for Sandro, he appears in final scenarios as your enemy with Armor of the Damned, but without Cloak of the Undead King.

While it's very hard for Yog to have both Wisdom and Earth Magic (see Talk page for more information), reload first scenarios of Crag Hack, Gelu, and Gem if they don't have good secondary skills, until they have really a good set of secondary skills (Wisdom and Earth Magic are a must, and at least three or four should be one of the following: other magic schools, Logistics, Offense, Armorer, Archery, Tactics, Intelligence, Sorcery).
