Council of Elders

A group of powerful elven druids that helps the Elf King govern AvLee. Also called the Elder Council and the Circle of Elders. Eldrich Parson never made important decisions without the advice of the Elders, who are regarded as the wisest of all AvLeean elves.

Elleshar is expected to become the youngest druid ever accepted into the Council. The Elders directed Gelu and Gem to avenge the deaths of Lords Falorel, Lord Fayette, the Dragon Lords and all the other victims of the Necromancer raids in the Unholy Alliance campaign.

Following Parson's death in the Reckoning, the Council of Elders ruled Aranorn, an elven nation established on Axeoth by the survivors from AvLee. During the events of Heroes of Might and Magic IV, the Elders choose the new Elf King, a druid named Elvin. They accepted Ryland as the first human commander in the Forest Guard after it was reformed as part of Aranorn's military.
