You tentatively approach the burial crypt of ancient warriors. Do you want to search the graves? * * * Upon defeating the undead guardians you spend several hours searching the graves and find nothing. Such a despicable act reduces your army's morale. |
Crypt is an adventure map location, and commonly known as one of the creature banks. It is guarded by 50–60 undead creatures, whose level varies from 1 to 4. The more guards there are, the better the reward. Treasure contains gold or sometimes a treasure class artifact.
The guards are divided into the stacks of:
A hex: 10/13/20/20 Skeletons
B hex: 10/10/20/20 Walking Dead
C hex: 10 Walking Dead/5/10/10 Wights
D hex: 10 Skeletons/10 Walking Dead/5/10 Vampires
E hex: 10/12 Skeletons/clear/clear
All the guard stacks of the same speed are attack in alphabetic order: from A to E.
The hero's troops are located in blue hexes 1-7 (a tail hex for two-hexed creatures) according to stack positioning in the army slots 1-7. But if the hero has less than 7 stacks, e.g. 3, they will be placed in hexes 1-3 no matter how they were placed in the army slots.
Though war machines are not present on the battlefield, the infinite shots effect from Ammo Cart is active.
Slain enemies do not respawn (should the hero retreat or be defeated).
Searching the crypt after the guards have been defeated decreases morale by 1. Visiting additional crypts will not further decrease morale.
