Regarding the negation of Morale penalty: neutral creatures do not count as neutrally aligned for any purpose. While the artifact is equipped, the Good and Neutral factions' creatures in the equipped hero's army are considered to be from one faction, thus providing the army +1 Morale. Adding Evil factions' creatures or neutral creatures
,
Conflux creatures, or neutral creatures
to the army prevents the Morale bonus. For example: having creatures from
Castle,
Tower, and
Inferno gives no morale bonus or penalty (as if the hero had creatures from two factions), while having creatures from
Castle,
Tower,
Inferno, and
Dungeon gives -1 morale (as if the hero had creatures from three factions).
The Angelic Alliance's ability to cast
Prayer can be mitigated by allied creatures' immunity, Cursed Ground, or anti-magic artifacts. However, it works normally in Anti-Magic Garrisons.

Loynis' specialty will affect the effect of
Prayer cast by the Angelic Alliance.
The Angelic Alliance gives the highest boosts to primary skills out of any combination artifact in the game, outclassing the
Power of the Dragon Father despite filling fewer artifact slots (6 slots compared to 9 slots).
The Angelic Alliance is the most expensive artifact in The Shadow of Death.
This artifact is referenced in the Calamity Mod for Terraria with an item of the same name. It provides the same type of all-round buff and the sound of Prayer is played upon the activation of the buff.
