:interesting. you should get zero liches in this situation, cause necro calculations are stack-based in SoD, and you, as i can assume, went into the battle with the minimal army for the more proficient death-rippling. so u got 3+3+3+3+3+3+2 elves, not 20. 7+7+6 will give you 5 liches, and 10+10 - 6. --GroundhogYear (talk) 08:43, 9 March 2021 (UTC) | :interesting. you should get zero liches in this situation, cause necro calculations are stack-based in SoD, and you, as i can assume, went into the battle with the minimal army for the more proficient death-rippling. so u got 3+3+3+3+3+3+2 elves, not 20. 7+7+6 will give you 5 liches, and 10+10 - 6. --GroundhogYear (talk) 08:43, 9 March 2021 (UTC) | ||

Another epic fail
I have reported a possible bug in the previous scenario, but there is another one even worse here. You start with a Necropolis, and right to the east, there is a Sawmill guarded by 20 elves. With artifacts and Death Ripple, it's easy to murder them all in one turn with no losses. However, defeating these elves gives Sandro only one Lich! I have calculated the true amount of Liches raised: HP of a Lich is 30, and HP of any type of Elf is 15, thus efficiency is 50% (as if there were 10 creatures with 30+ HP). Expert Necromancy is raising 30%, and Cloak of the Undead King gives additional 30%. Thus, 60% of 10 gives 6 Liches, and I tested that exact situation using Map Editor, getting exactly 6 Liches. Going to the north from that place, Sandro defeated 17 Griffins and raised 6 Liches, so there should be something like a bug.--Dread Knight (talk) 23:36, 8 March 2021 (UTC)
