Luck is a secondary skill that increases hero's combat variable of the same name. The increase to the variable is +1 at basic skill level, +2 at or +3 depenging on the skill level.
Discussion
Having high luck is unquestionably valuable in combat. However, for several reasons Luck a secondary skill is not worth choosing:
- Positive luck can often be obtained fairly easily through certain artifacts and adventure map locations (e.g. Fountain of Fortune).
- In the case of lucky strike, only base damage is doubled, which means that benefits from Archery or Offense are not taken into account. This means that the total damage is not doubled, as it might be assumed.
- Luck is unpredictable and can not therefore be relied on when planning fights.
