The current version of the Pumpkin Patch is 1.4.1. You can see your mod version on the main menu screen.
The current version of the Pumpkin Patch is 1.4.9. You can see your mod version on the main menu screen.

The mod intends to bring about changes that are beautiful, balanced, bold, brilliant, benign and sometimes benefit from a touch of buffoonery. One of the key drives for the design of the mod was increasing the diversity of reasonable options a player has. Naturally, as a result, the various options available to the player need to be balanced.

Experience depends on AI value
Adventure Map Objects
In the Pumpkin Patch, experience scales with AI value / 16, and is increased by 1/8 for hero combat, and another 1/8 for sieges. This makes experience match the difficulty of the fight. As a result, on random maps, guards of the same types of objects will provide the same amount of experience, regardless of their level, or whether they are defensive or offensive units.
* [-] Increased the number of Enchanters obtained from Ivory Towers to 4/8/12/16

* [-] Fixed an error when selecting Athe as a starting hero

* [-] Fixed stone Hill Fort not charging for level 1 units

Primary skills increase at a constant rate
Removes the primary skill increase changing after the hero reaches level 10.

Town Portal belongs to Earth Magic, Dimension Door belongs to Air Magic
Moves the adventure map spells to where they belong in HotA. By default, in the Pumpkin Patch, Town Portal belongs to all magic schools, and Dimension Door belongs to the school of Fire Magic.

Fangarms can be cloned without Water Magic
Allows applying Clone to Fangarms without the Water Magic skill.

Pit Lords can summon up to 3 times
Increases the number of casts of the Summon Demons ability of Pit Lords to 3 per combat.

Griffin Tower without Barracks
Removes the requirement of building Blacksmith and Barracks to access the Griffin Tower. The Griffin Tower will, however, still require the Archer's Tower.

Unpredictable Genies
Genies can cast all positive spells, as well as Clone, Resurrection and Implosion on their allies. Moreover, all of their spells are always random and ignore any targeting requirements, such as Resurrection only being cast on the living.

I lifted the magic schools ban for the few might classes that had it. While they could learn the skills from Witch Huts, they couldn't use Universities. I decided to buff it primarily by improving demon farming through increasing the amount of demons an Inferno player can obtain for the same amount of money, per week. Horned demons were slightly redesigned - they are now a significant upgrade, but have a much higher cost - both in the sulphur, which is needed for multiple Inferno buildings early on, as well as in gold G. He predicted the Kreegan attack, an event later known as the Liberation Wars. All because of his uncanny ability to see the world for what it is. Some say this is why his troops never miss their mark.

 • [-] Increased the base damage of Ice Bolt to 20/20/40/80 damage.
