User Commentary
Spells only do 15% of their normal damage to them. They are quite slow, but their substantial health points and spell damage reduction makes them very durable. Their overall stats are under-average for a level 5 unit, but it's understandable since they are neutral creatures. As you get them as an extra from the Golem Factory along with their cousins the Diamond Golems, their price is offset due to not having to construct a dwelling. If you have a stable access to their dwelling and enough resources, you might consider placing them into a town's garrison (but beware of morale).
As non-living creatures with damage reduction, they are particularly dangerous against spell-casting heroes (and certain creatures), because they are immune to certain spells, including all Mind spells.
