The Price of Loyalty features a wizard named Solmyr, however it is a different character from Solmyr the Wizard, as he is a human, not a genie, and PoL's Solmyr is allegedly non-canon as he only appears in a series of scenarios instead of in a campaign.
Kilburn the Knight who appeared in Heroes 1 and Heroes 2 was featured in the beta version of Heroes 3. However, he was cut from the final game.
Kastore the Warlock who appeared in Heroes 1 and Heroes 2 was originally planned to be part of the Forge faction in Armageddon's Blade. However this plan was dropped due to backlash against the concept of the Forge. In Horn of the Abyss, Kastore plays an important role in the story of the Forged in Fire campaign, however he does not appear in-game as a hero character.
