An underground city and capital of Deyja. Home of the royal Castle Gloaming. Featured in Might and Magic VII: For Blood and Honor as part of the Deyja Moors region. For the 
Horn of the Abyss campaign map of Antagarich, the northeastern part of Deyja where the Pit is located is shown as a separate region.
The Pit is the true heart of the Necromancer's Guild in Antagarich. It is commonly said that the surface of Deyja is only a small part of the kingdom of death, contrary to the Pit. This subterranean city is also central to the Path of Darkness, a faith practiced by people throughout the world, mirroring Bracada's capitol of Celeste.
The entrance to the Pit, called the Hall of the Pit, is located in northern Deyja.
