He is not an original Restoration of Erathia hero, but was introduced with the Armageddon's Blade expansion.

Bug: the starting amount of creatures is equal to the one of the common Castle hero. (Fixed in Horn of the Abyss) .

Typically, Xeron is only available in campaigns and custom scenarios if the map-maker has enabled him.
