A region in south-east Erathia. Apparently named after Rion Gryphonheart, the founder of Erathia.
A large AvLeean population inhabits the southeastern coast at Rionpoint, these elves being allied with Erathia. Dragons native to the region augmented their military strength and became an important target in the joint Nighon and Kreegan invasion of Erathia during the Restoration Wars.
