Ring of the Wayfarer is a major class artifact equipped in the ring slot. While equipped the ring increases combat speed of hero's units by +1. The bonus does not affect hero's movement points on the Adventure Map.
Discussion
Although Ring of the Wayfarer is major class artifact, it give the same amount of bonus as treasure class artifact Necklace of Swiftness, while another major artifact, Cape of Velocity gives +2 to speed during combat.
