History

A land once battled over by humans, elves, and other invaders, featured in the Seeds of Discontent campaign. The Contested Lands is a region and independent nation on the continent of Antagarich.

After the Restoration Wars, fearing that Erathia and AvLee would resume hostilities with each other and that they would be caught in the crossfire, the inhabitants of the Contested Lands wage a war of their own for independence and ultimately were victorious. Unbeknownst to them, however, their war was secretly orchestrated by Archibald Ironfist.

Welnin was founded as its new capitol, with the installation of the Grail cementing its position in the land.
