A library keeper in Erathia, Zilare once dedicated his life to maintaining sections of ancient archives. One day he forgot where he put a rare tome and was accused of stealing it. Fleeing to the docks he managed to board a departing ship that needed an extra cook. Unbeknownst to him, he had just signed himself up for a life of piracy. Eventually developing arcane powers, he became especially adept at making others forgetful.
