A surprise turn in the landscape finds you in the midst of a grisly scene - vultures picking at the aftermath of a terrible battle. Your cursory search of the remains turns up an enchanted hourglass.

Hourglass of the Evil Hour is a treasure class artifact equipped in the misc slot. It negates all positive luck bonuses during combat.

In the Horn of the Abyss expansion where bad luck is implemented, it does not prevent creatures from receiving bad luck. Horn of the Abyss

Some may find the information in this section subjective or irrelevant.

This is less useful than the corresponding morale artifact, the Spirit of Oppression, due to the fact that most wandering creatures have neutral luck, and the fact that luck overall is weaker than morale.
