He is not an original Restoration of Erathia hero, but was added in Armageddon's Blade and is also available in Shadow of Death. Typically Roland is not playable, but the map-maker may enable him in scenarios or custom campaigns.

His specialty is bugged, he DOES NOT give bonuses to swordsmen, only crusaders.
