Mana Generator is similar to Glyphs of Fear, Blood Obelisk, and Brimstone Stormclouds, but for Knowledge. Of those, Mana Generator is probably the most effective, since the 20 extra spell points can allow the defender to cast a few extra spells. However, the effect overall is still niche. Factory needs a lot of specific buildings for their level 7 dwellings, so the Mana Generator should only be taken in an emergency or as a luxury.
