Loynis does not appear in the story text of any campaign levels.

Specialty

His specialty adds to Prayer's normal speed, attack and defense bonuses:
    +3 to creatures on level 1–2
    +2 to creatures on level 3–4
    +1 to creatures on level 5–6
    No additional bonus for creatures on level 7.

Although the in-game description of the specialty states, "based on hero level compared to the level of the target unit", Loynis' level has no effect on the specialty.

Prayer as a specialty would be most excellent, but Loynis' learning skill - which some consider less useful than any other skill - makes him a better choice for a secondary hero. Loynis is also less effective if he will not be able to learn water magic. However, combination of mass bless and mass prayer is very good for huge and powerful army.
