The city of Stonecastle which most notable feature was the tomb which housed King Nicolas Gryphonheart's remains after his assassination which occurred after Queen Catherine's wedding to King Roland Ironfist.
Stonecastle is located in Marble Garden, an area untouched by the Nighon/Eeofol invasion and subsequent attacks from Tatalia and Krewlod. However, it was not spared completely.
The kingdom of Deyja did yet crave vengeance upon King Nicolas Gryphonheart due to their exile, so a covert mission was hatched to steal in to the tomb of King Gryphonheart and to resurrect him as a Lich to serve as a general against his own daughter, Catherine.
