Revision as of 21:42, 26 October 2025
Pumpkin Patch (or PP) is an unofficial sub-mod for Horn of the Abyss, designed with competitive PvP game balance in mind.
The project changes many aspects of the game, from building costs and town building trees to secondary skills and creature statistics. While much is changed by default, an additional program is bundled with Pumpkin Patch: Hex Swapper. This tool allows players to change or toggle specific options before launching the game, allowing for a degree of gameplay customisation on a per-game basis. Online games are possible provided that both players select the same options in Hex Swapper, thus ensuring that both players are bound to the same ruleset at all times. Hero skins also exist in the Hex Swapper and may be freely toggled between before launching the game. Skins have no impact on gameplay and do not have to match between players in online gameplay.
The mod requires Horn of the Abyss to run.
The expansion is officially available in two languages: Polish and English.
