King Tralossk never really liked Alkin, but gave him his own command in the hopes that he would one day get himself killed. That never happened, and Alkin has led a long and glorious career, much to the displeasure of the King.

Specialty

Besides the ability mentioned in his description, Alkin also gives +1 speed to Gorgons and Mighty Gorgons. The in-game description "{{{herospec}}}" is erroneous in "each level attained" moment, and lacks the speed bonus information. (Description is fixed in HotA ).

Unlike the native terrain speed bonus, the creature specialty speed bonus can affect the hero's movement points in case the creature is the slowest one in the army.
