How to use[edit | hide | hide all]

The code is copied at the beginning of the hero's article, and fill in the missing information. It should be noticed, that the factors below are case sensitive meaning, that "Town" is not the same as "town".

Optional components[edit | hide]

  • classname: An override to the displayed class name
  • hpicture: set to "_(HotA)" if there is a hota version of the hero picture
  • hspec: set to "_(HotA)" if there is a hota version of the specialty image
  • flavor: The scenario name or version of the hero that appears in a different scenario.
  • atk: Custom primary skill stat (attack)
  • def: Custom primary skill stat (defense)
  • sp: Custom primary skill stat (spell power)
  • know: Custom primary skill stat (knowledge)
  • skill_#: Replace # with the skill number 1-8
    • skill_#+: Extra test to add to the skill row (e.g. for expansion symbols)
    • sk#only: Set to the expansion (e.g. sod/hota) that you want to ONLY show the row for
  • troop_#: Replace # with the troop number 1-8
    • troop_#_img: Display an alternate (e.g. HotA) image for this troop.
    • nmb_#: The number of creatures in this troop
    • chance_#: The chance that this troop appears in the hero's army
  • biography: If left out, removes the blank space created by an empty biography.
  • marginR: Used to set a different right margin (useful for showing different flavors of a hero).
  • level: Starting hero level

HotA Movement Points[edit | hide]

For all heroes amount of starting movement points depends on their starting army: if they got a slow creature in starting army - they start with less movement points. In HotA Horn of the Abyss all heroes are guaranteed to start with a certain set of creatures, so their starting movement points are constant.
