Drakon was the greatest warrior in his village, and later the region, before choosing to serve King Tralossk. His charismatic demeanor (at least with other Gnolls) has troops volunteering to join his armies in droves. | |||||||||||

Story[edit | hide | hide all]
Drakon does not appear in the story text of any campaign levels.
Appearances[edit | hide]
- Playing with Fire
- Burning of Tatalia in a prison (with a different profile).
- Birth of a Barbarian
- A Tough Start in a prison.
- Terror of the Seas
- Evenmorn as an enemy.
Trivia[edit | hide]
In the Armageddon's Blade campaign Playing with Fire, Drakon uses an alternate profile: Drakon (Burning of Tatalia). His portrait is changed to that of Alamar, but his race remains gnoll, not human.
Specialty[edit | hide]
The in-game description lacks the speed bonus information (description is fixed in Horn of the Abyss ).
Unlike the native terrain speed bonus, the creature specialty speed bonus can affect the hero's movement points in the case that the creature is the slowest one in the army.

In the currently known Russian localizations, Drakon and Dracon have the same name spelling (Дракон, Drakon, which also exactly matches the capitalized spelling of the Rissian word for a dragon), since letters C and K are transliterated in the same way, namely as К (e.g. Korbac is "Корбак", Korbak, in Russian), and because the translators didn't bother to prevent the multi-level confusion (e.g., by doubling the crucial letter in one of the names and perhaps a different letter in the other), as a professional (paid) translate team should be supposed to do. (Interestingly, Mutare Drake is known in Russian by a freestyle phonetical transcription of her name, as Мутаре Дрэйк, which, while maneuvers away from more unwelcome matches, in the same time makes the name less meaningful for a Russian localization adept, rather bringing to mind references to famous people with Drake being their last name than anything drake-ish.) |
