Everyone must join the battlefield in Kilgor's army, from the chieftain himself to the lowliest pack-bearer. This includes the cooks, who handle cooking in their cauldrons just as well as their huge butcher's cleavers. Should one take a close look at Gruezak, one would be surprised to find out he possesses an array of combat skills hardly expected from a pan and ladle expert. However, who on earth would want to scrutinize a run-of-the-mill cook, and an orc, to boot?

Gruezak is a campaign-exclusive hero and is not playable in custom-made maps. However, his portrait is available in map-editor and can be chosen if a custom hero is created on the map. He is based off the hero Gurnisson.

Story

Horn of the Abyss

Gruezak works for Bofmog as a secret agent. His occupation as a cook is a cover for his real work, and he enjoys letting his brutish appearance fool others into underestimating his cunning.

Heroes of Might and Magic IV

Gruezak survived The Reckoning and appeared as a hero on Axeoth.

"Gruezak started as a cook in Kilgor's army but deserted shortly before the final battle that brought about the Reckoning. Many of the orc tribes were wiped out during that war, including his own. Now, Gruezak, like so many orcs, has resorted to banditry and other crimes simply to survive." --Biography
