Town Portal is a 4th level spell in the School of earth magic. It teleports the casting hero to the nearest allied town. The town must not have a visiting hero. Additionally, heroes can be teleported to allied players towns.
Typically in tournament games and multiplayer games, Town Portal spell is banned.
Basic Town Portal does not seem to work if you are underground and all of your castles are above ground.
