All scary stories feature a horseman who had been hanged, stabbed or even beheaded and now rides by night, intending to exact revenge on his killers. Nonsense, a necromancer would say, a dead man risen by himself cannot have memory or will. It may well be so, but then Boyd has scores to settle not only with the traitor who slayed him, but also with the one who denied him rest in peace. | ||||||||||

Boyd is a campaign exclusive hero and is not playable in custom made maps. However, his portrait is available in map editor and can be chosen if a custom hero is created on the map. He is based off the heroes Galthran and Moandor.
Story
Once a member of Dargem's crew, Boyd displeased him and was painfully executed...after which Boyd was raised from the dead with the sole purpose of avenging himself. He allies with Henrietta in her fight against the pirates with the sole conditions that Dargem is left to him in the end. An illusion of Boyd later appears in the Hall of Illusions, in a tomb north of Burton.
