Sacrifice is a 5 level spell in the School of Fire Magic. The spell destroys (sacrifices) the target living troop in order to resurrect creatures of another stack back to life. The other stack must be receptive to the Resurrection spell.
Units that can not be sacrificed or be resurrected with it:
- Undead
- Golems
- Stone and Obsidian Gargoyles
- Gold Dragon *can be sacrificed but not resurrected
- Fire and Energy Elementals
- Firebirds *(not in Horn of the Abyss) and Phoenixes

Typically, it is better to sacrifice a troop with a greater number of creatures than a troop with the same total health but fewer units. A sacrificed stack does not leave a carcase to be resurrected or summoned into Demons. |
