Sacrifice is a 5 level spell in the School of Fire Magic. The spell destroys (sacrifices) the target living troop in order to resurrect creatures of another stack back to life. The other stack must be receptive to the Resurrection spell. A sacrificed stack leaves an empty hex on the battlefield without anything to be resurrected or summoned as Demons.
Units that can not be sacrificed or be resurrected with it:
- Undead
- Golems
- Stone and Obsidian Gargoyles
- Gold Dragon *can be sacrificed but not resurrected
- Fire and Energy Elementals
- Firebirds *(not in Horn of the Abyss) and Phoenixes
