Zog is a campaign exclusive hero, and though not playable in custom-made maps. He is based off the hero Vey. However, his portrait is available in map-editor and can be chosen if a custom hero is created on the map.

Story

High Chieftain of the ogres harassing Burton. Owner of the Ironfist of the OgreIronfist of the Ogre.

Zog appears in Might and Magic VIII: Day of the Destroyer, where he is the leader of a band of ogres set in the Barbarian Fortress dungeon at the northern edge of the Ravage Roaming region.
