This spell is arguably the most powerful spell in the game. Cast blind on another creature each round and soon there will be nobody left to fight! Then pick off each creature one by one. It is especially powerful in combination with expert [[Slow]]. A hero with sufficient spell power and knowledge can take down army's many times the size of their own.  First cast slow, then as enemy creatures limp towards you, blind them one by one. Then attack one creature with all your creatures, and blind it again before it has a chance to move/attack.

Blind is a 2 level spell in the School of Fire Magic. Blindness causes the creature stack to completely lose its turn to act on combat round. This means, that the creature is unable to move, attack or use any possible active special abilities. Blind can be removed with Cure and Dispel spells. Additionally, Blind is removed if the creature is attacked in any way or the duration of the spell ends.

As Blind is one of the mind spells, undead, elementals and golems are immune to it. Additionally, Titans have immunity to mind spell which makes them unviable target for Blind. Additionally, Efreeti and Efreet Sultans, Firebirds and Phoenixes, and already blind Troglodytes and Infernal troglodytes are immune to Blind.

Discussion

This spell is arguably the most powerful spell in the game. Cast blind on another creature each round and soon there will be nobody left to fight! Then pick off each creature one by one. It is especially powerful in combination with expert Slow. A hero with sufficient spell power and knowledge can take down army's many times the size of their own. First cast slow, then as enemy creatures limp towards you, blind them one by one. Then attack one creature with all your creatures, and blind it again before it has a chance to move/attack.

Blind also works really well with Resurrection. While the last enemy is blinded, you can spend many rounds resurrecting all your troops.

Blind is also great for stopping enemy heroes from retreating. A hero cannot retreat if all their creatures are blinded (note that a hero can still retreat if they have a war machine and the relevant secondary skill).

The only drawbacks of blind are that many creatures are immune, and it can be dispelled. With the Orb of Vulnerability, you can cast blind on any creature, even Black Dragons!
