Also referred to as "Gen. Kendal" in Steadwick's Fall, Steadwick's Liberation and Return of the King.

General Kendal is a campaign exclusive hero and is not playable in custom made maps. However, his portrait is available in map editor and can be chosen if a custom hero is created on the map. He is based off other heroes, most likely Lord Haart and Sir Mullich. The portrait works fine with using only Restoration of Erathia version of the game, but in Armageddon's Blade and The Shadow of Death, General Kendal's portrait is named differently. This causes Thunar's portrait to show up instead of General Kendal's (fixed in Horn of the Abyss ).

Trivia

• In Steadwick's Fall and Steadwick's Liberation, General Kendal is based on Lord Haart, having an Estates specialty and basic Estates/Leadership.
• In Return of the King, General Kendal is based on Sir Mullich, having a Speed specialty and advanced Leadership.
