Power rating is one of the settings of a Hero Placeholder object in the Map Editor, which varies from 1 to 8.
In some campaigns, it is possible to take additional "most powerful" or "strongest" heroes into the next campaign scenario. Note, that heroes "hidden" in a garrison (f.e. of a Town) count when determining the Power Rating.
Hero strength is defined as the sum of the hero's level and all of their primary skills. It is possible to have a few heroes with exactly the same strength, in which case the strongest one will be determined by the following criteria:
- If there are multiple heroes with equal strength, then the one with the higher experience level is considered stronger.
- If there are multiple heroes with equal strength and level, then the one with the higher number of experience points is considered stronger.
- If there are multiple heroes with equal strength, level and experience points, then the one with the higher ID is considered stronger. See below for the complete list of heroes with their corresponding ID:
Note, that since heroes start with a random double-digit XP, the chance of the third tie occuring is very low (and is mostly facilitated by the use of Trees of Knowledge).
