"Crag Hack was an easygoing man, with a passion for combat, wine and lots of women. He made me smile and forget my own troubles for a while." - Yog's letter to the Wizards of Bracada SoD manual
A barbarian who fought for Lord Slayer in the First War of Enrothian Succession and Archibald Ironfist in the second, after which he came to Antagarich in search of fame and fortune.
Upon reaching Antagarich, he is hired by Sandro (a necromancer in disguise) to help him assemble, and then destroy the Armor of the Damned. In reality, Sandro wants the artifact for himself in his bid to take over the world. Once Sandro has the artifacts he wants, he leaves without paying, which enrages Crag Hack.
While searching for Sandro, Crag Hack foils Tyranell, a hero Sandro paid to bring him the pieces of the Statue of Legion. He then finds and teams up with Yog, a fellow barbarian who is also fighting the necromancers. They slowly realize the enormity of Sandro's plans and then further team up with Gelu and Gem, who are fighting against Sandro as well. Together, they assemble the Angelic Alliance to combat the powers of Sandro's artifacts. Once they defeat Sandro, the heroes break apart the Armor of the Damned and the Cloak of the Undead King and disperse the pieces throughout Antagarich.
Heroes of Might and Magic IV
Crag Hack survived The Reckoning and appeared as a Barbarian on Axeoth.
Trivia[edit | hide]
Crag Hack is recognizable in several Heroes of Might and Magic games, and in The Shadow of Death campaigns where he plays a prominent role. Might and Magic VII: For Blood and Honor features a Crag Hack that hails from Terra, not Enroth.

User Commentary
As a Barbarian, Crag Hack typically has an excellent Attack skill, which together with his Offense specialty makes his army very hard to vanquish (taking into account that Stronghold is one of the most offensive towns in the game). In some way, the passionately offensive Crag Hack is an "opposite hero" to the aggressively defensive Tazar the Beastmaster. Cove have a very similar hero to Crag Hack, Captain Corkes.
