Some may find the information in this section subjective or irrelevant.

  • There are four factions in this campaign: Castle, Rampart, Inferno, and Conflux. You should use the whole magical potential of three latter, since Castle doesn't have 5th level Mage Guild. Build Order of Fire in every Inferno town, so as to upgrade heroes' spell power.
  • In Gelu's Rampart scenarios, don't build Elves' upgraded dwellings. Gelu can upgrade their basic version, i.e. Wood Elves, directly to Sharpshooters, so you don't need Grand Elves at all. Sharpshooters don't have double attack unlike Grand Elves, but they don't need it as range and obstacle penalties are defied, their stats are significantly higher than Grand Elves' stats, and they have speed 9 which is brilliant for a shooter. They get an opportunity to kill Cerberi or Pit Lords with impunity. Save money for something more important.
